Well, we arrived in Genova, Italy at about 7:00, though we got off of the ship at about 8:00. From there, we ate ate a quick breakfast at the train station before boarding a one and a half hour train to Montorosso. When we arrived, we checked in to Hotel La Coloninna and headed to the beach. The beaches were gravelly, rather than white sand, and the ground was scorching hot, but the Mediterranean Sea was cool and refreshing. We took a short nap and went to dinner at La Cantina de Miky. At dinner, we took the last unreserved table to watch the Italy vs. Germany soccer match in the Euro Cup semifinals. Then Brogan and I headed back to the hotel to sleep in the nice, air conditioned room, though my parents stayed up a bit longer.
Glad to see you all are enjoying.
